When looking ahead to the video portion of our slice class, I anticipated it with excitement, but also with a little bit of nervousness. I mean photos and audio—minus some equipment confusion—I can handle. But video is a whole new world to me. I’m not a huge fan of violent video games, although they are played frequently in my house. But, I am a huge fan of commercials and have been known to buy a product just because the advertising pulled me in. I don’t plan on playing “Call of Duty: Black Ops” any time soon, but I do think one of its commercial is very clever, and as I discovered, a good use of sequence. Read the rest of this entry »

Margaret and I are learning the video process. She was a great first subject–but as you can see I have a long way to go. The lighting from the windows is not ideal, and in a real world situation I would make sure Bob wasn’t in the background staring into space. I would also find a less noisy location.
